Utilize your expertise in Affordable Housing Development to autonomously manage new construction and acquisition-rehab projects through the full-cycle development process. Work closely with an entrepreneurial group of smart, inquisitive, and energetic professionals to quarterback deals and tackle their robust pipeline of projects with a company that strives to work with top players in our industry and only does deals with firms that have amazing reputations.

  • Complete market analysis, project feasibility, and program development for projects
  • Prepare complex Excel Tax Credit model of development for investor review
  • Complete and submit Tax Credit applications, RFP responses, and loan applications
  • Conduct due diligence, which entails a review of third-party reports including surveys, titles, soil reports & hydrology studies, environmental studies, zoning, approval, etc.
  • Oversee and collaborate with the Architect in the design and completion of construction plans and specifications as well as coordinate with the GC throughout the design process
  • Confirm all required entitlements and approvals are attained
  • Participate in the selection process of General Contractor as well as vet Contractors and their bids
  • Ensure appropriate safety and reporting standards are in place for Contractor agreements
  • Utilize and manage project reporting tools for internal and external communications
  • Primary job responsibilities will be to coordinate, implement, and manage activities related to Affordable Housing Development throughout the United States
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of on-the-job experience in Real Estate Development with an emphasis in multifamily housing and Affordable Housing Development Project Management Or a Master’s degree in Real Estate: City and Regional Planning, Business, Finance, Public Policy, Architecture or a related field + 2 years of experience in Affordable Housing
  • Highly motivated self-starter with meticulous attention to detail and strong follow-up and follow-through
  • Team player with a track record of success and the ability to work autonomously
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and written and verbal communication skills and a high capacity to multitask
